Marketing & Sales Services

Marketing Services

Marketing Service is the action of doing something for someone or something. It is largely intangible (i.e. not material). You cannot touch it. You cannot see it. You cannot taste it. You cannot hear it. You cannot feel it. So, a service context creates a series of challenges for the marketing manager since he or she must communicate the benefits of service by drawing parallels with imagery and ideas that are more tangible.

Search quality is the perception in the mind of the consumer of the quality of the product before purchase through making a series of searches. So, this is simple concerning a tangible product because you might look at size or colour for example. Therefore, search quality relates more to products and services.

Perishable – in that once it has occurred it cannot be repeated in the same way. You cannot put service in the warehouse, or store it in your inventory.

Variable –since human involvement in service provision means that no two services will be completely identical, they are variable.

Homogeneous –Homogeneity is where services are largely the same (the opposite of variability). Consumers expect the same level of service and would not anticipate any huge deviation in their experience.

Inseparable –from the point where it is consumed, and from the provider of the service. The consumer is involved in the production process that they are buying at the same time as it is being produced, for example, an eye test or a makeover.

Intangible –cannot have a real, physical presence as does a product. For example, motor insurance may have a certificate, but the financial service itself cannot be touched i.e., it is intangible.

Lead Generation refers to the process of generating prospective consumer interest or inquiring into a company’s products or services. Sales and Marketing are the two types of lead generation market. Usually, sales leads are generated based on criteria such as income, age, etc. These sales leads are resold to multiple advertisers which are then followed up through phone calls by salespeople. Marketing leads are generated for a particular advertiser. Unlike sales leads, marketing leads are sold once only.

What is a Lead?

A lead is a prospective customer who has shown interest in the services or products provided by your company.

Their interest is expressed through sharing their contact information such as an email or a phone number.

Why is a Lead Generation important?

  • Obtain new sales leads

  • Generate the right leads

Sales Services

“Sales as a Service” means taking a concierge approach to sales. It doesn’t stop with being consultative; it means being a trusted advisor throughout the buyer’s journey.

The term “Sales Service” may sound new to some companies, and for the most part, it is. There is no one clear-cut definition, either. For some companies, it’s all about obtaining services from an expert provider designed to improve the overall sales process. For others, it’s a combination of services and software that truly fits the bill.

What is sales automation ?

Sales automation is the process of standardizing and automating your sales process by putting parts of the process into autopilot mode. This can save you a lot of time because your sales team does not have to work on repetitive, time-consuming sales processes. Instead, your sales team can focus on more important business tasks.

The automation aims to manage many of the administrative responsibilities that sales reps and managers have to do every day, saving you and your team an enormous amount of time.
